Small patches of dry, scaly, or slightly red skin that may feel itchy but do not cause significant discomfort. These areas are often confined to specific spots like the elbows, knees, or hands and are manageable with basic skincare.
Larger or multiple areas of red, inflamed, and itchy skin that may feel rough or thickened. Symptoms like cracking or oozing can appear, especially after scratching. This level can disrupt daily life and may need prescription creams or ointments to manage.
Widespread, intensely inflamed patches of skin that are extremely itchy, painful, and prone to cracking, bleeding, or oozing. Skin may become thickened or leathery over time due to chronic irritation. This level often disrupts sleep and daily activities, requiring specialized medical treatment to manage.
